Axa understand employees may sometimes face personal issues that cannot be readily resolved through normal work-related channels. To help during these difficult times, they provide access to trained, external counsellors on a strictly confidential basis through their employee assistance programme.

Challenge Day is a focal part of the calendar for all employees, where teams carry out a community task together for the benefit of local organisations. All the offices separate general waste, and components are sent for recycling under contract. Paper used internally is from mixed post-consumer and FSC certified sources. To encourage employees to separate and recycle their waste at work, many offices no longer have individual bins.
