ANS' business philosophy is to care for its customers' needs, before, during and after delivery of a project, and to do that better than any other similar business
Various roles within the organisation undergo differing amounts of training depending on what is required. The sales team will have training sessions for two hours every Friday with all managers taking part in external courses once a month whilst engineers go through a total of at least two weeks of training throughout the year. As well as this ANS closely manage and monitor any upcoming talent within the organisation and put clear targets and objectives in place to ensure they are continually driven to succeed.
There are numerous awards available for those that have excelled in various areas. These would include Salesperson of the Year, Techie of the Year, Best Newcomer of the Year, Rising Star, Unsung Hero and overall Employee of the Year, all of which are voted for by the employees themselves. They are also soon to be introducing some new awards that run alongside and embody their newly selected ‘family values’ which are : Integrity, Passion, Positive Attitude and Quality.
ANS take their employees on team building activities between three and five times per year. One of these days was aimed specifically at the sales team with a view to introducing new members and teaching them what the business is all about. A full day of team building activities such as archery and quad biking followed by dinner and drink led to the new employees feeling fully integrated and as though they had been with the company for years.
