This organisation encourages personal growth for all employees within the organisation, each member of staff has a personal development plan and there is a range of workshops and training sessions available. In addition, to support employees in the workplace there are health and safety, first aid and anti discrimination training.
Ability Housing Association have a comprehensive staff intranet site which includes a page for recognising staff achievements. Staff are also recognised with emails and letters from senior managers when they do a great job.
The Chief Executive engages with employees through the staff intranet where they often hold open Q&A sessions to show they are fully committed to delivering the vision and mission. The senior management team operate an open door policy at all times.
