Addaction have carried out a range of team building events as local initiatives, these include working with a team of actors to develop better communication skills, doing outdoor pursuit activities and away days for the board of trustees to consider strategy.
To encourage and promote employees personal growth within the organisation, depending on the course employees receive funding and time for study leave and exams to provided them with support in their development. Other training areas include e-learning, internal workshops and learning events, management conferences and a range of external training events.
As a charity they have a number of employees who will take part in fundraising activities such as running marathons, and promoting corporate social responsibility. There are several employees on the board of local charities, to support them in this role time off with pay may be provided by Addaction for various meetings.
