Assureweb is a financial services technology business. We aggregate and distribute life & pensions products to financial advisers using the latest internet technologies. This is either via our Portal (www.assureweb.co.uk) or through our technology partners.
This organisation supports the managers with internal management training that is usually carried out on a 1:1 basis and as part of the performance review process all managers receive 360 degree feedback at least twice a year. There is a monthly senior manager’s forum which is solely to discuss the focus on managerial topics.
The executive team provides quarterly meetings to advise all staff on where they are in relation to their business plan for the year and in addition to this the CEO keeps a blog on the Company intranet. All senior managers work alongside employees within an open plan office. Those with offices have open door policies and all walls are glass so people are not shut away and are visible.
This organisation has a flexible working policy where any member of staff can seek to reduce their hours. They encourage staff to always take their full holiday entitlement during the year and provide time back where employees have worked exceptionally over their standard hours.
