Amey's Special Thanks and Recognition Scheme is a powerful way for Amey's people to let a colleague know that they have made a positive difference to their working lives. It works by employees presenting a 'Thank You' card to show their appreciation and they are then entered into a monthly selection process to win a £50 Supercheque.
All new starters attend a corporate induction within the first month of joining, this is held with new employees from all parts of the business and encourages different divisions to interact at an early stage and find out what goes on in each area.
