Long Service awards are awarded to staff with 10 and 15 years service, by the way of a personal gift. The firm recognise the importance of employees having and maintaining a healthy work/life balance and as such 24 of their 162 staff members work reduced hours, this not only includes staff with child care needs but also staff members who have chosen to reduce their working hours purely in the hope of achieving a better work/life balance. Staff are entitled to paid overtime, the HR department monitor the amount of overtime going through the payroll on a monthly basis to ensure that no employees are struggling with their work loads or spending too much time in work. Staff have also recently formed a sports committee to co- ordinate the sporting activities of the office to encourage participation and inclusion.

The leader of the organisation drives the business forward, he does so by living the values of the firm and by encouraging teamwork, demonstrating a high level of commitment, involving and developing individuals, being flexible and adaptable to new ideas, having expert knowledge in his technical work and working with enthusiasm. Each member of the management team is also very approachable and very visual in the organisation due to the new open plan office which makes interacting easier for more junior members of staff. As well as on a company and one to one basis the management team often communicate to the office through the HR Bulletin or through intranet announcements.
