Actavis constantly strive to ensure employees feel valued and rewarded and continuously review the benefits they offer. They have a reward and recognition scheme in place reflecting their values. Employees are rewarded with feedback, tailored thank you's and vouchers. A scheme is also in place where by employees can nominate each other for demonstrating the companies values. The director holds a quarterly business update meeting which all employees attend. Within the meeting employees are encouraged to put forward questions. The offices are open plan and an open door policy is in operation. Management are visible and are very hands on in the business. They are keen to be approachable to employees and often walk around the office and are present at departmental meetings.
Actavis are keen to support their local community and currently work with the North Devon Home Community Project and the Freedom Centre, a charity for the homeless and disadvantaged. In addition to this they made a donation to the local community centre to keep it in operation whilst waiting for lottery funding. Employees have taken part in a number of charitable activities to raise funds for local charities and Actavis match funds raised by employees up to £500.
